 Sudhanshu Rai is a multi-faceted personality, with an extraordinary knack for storytelling and filmmaking. He has penned more than 200 stories from across varied genres and is also the creator of Detective Boomrah, the most popular Indian detective character in contemporary fiction. After proving his mettle as an astute and renowned Indian storyteller across social media, digital podcasts and FM radio, he made his acting and directorial debut with Chaipatti, a horror comedy that gained immense adoration by audiences for its quirky concept. What followed was the maiden on-screen appearance of Detective Boomrah in a web series and a thrilling ride with Chintaa Mani.

Sudhanshu's stature as a virtuoso storyteller has even prompted corporate entities, including Public Sector Undertakings, to invite him for LIVE Storytelling Shows. His shows have been affirmed as a great mode of wholesome entertainment, and also as an effective HR tool for employee engagement. All his stories are first published and released under the banner of Kahanikaar Sudhanshu Rai, exclusively on his official YouTube channel. Many of his stories can also be listened to across leading podcast platforms, such as Storytel, Spotify and Audible.

The storyteller-actor-filmmaker has a bagful of stories across varied genres, but fans have always displayed special fondness for his thriller, science fiction, horror, mystery and of course, detective stories. One of India's most celebrated storytellers of all times, Sudhanshu Rai hails from a village near Gorakhpur and attributes his diverse persona to the learnings gathered in the company of saints and common people.

Sudhanshu’s entrepreneurial journey, however, began even before he set foot in the world of entertainment with professional storytelling and filmmaking. He is the founder of Saints Art, over a decade-old strategic Communication & PR firm that has expanded its ambit to also become one of India’s most experimental production houses. He has further been an eminent jury member for some of the most prestigious panels and awards, including the recent ET SPOTT Awards that honours brilliance in video and audio streaming.
